I made this brag book for hubby for a recent scuba trip. I used Chris's files:
Tab Book
The Deeper You Go
Scuba Card
I also used a couple of files that aren't in the store - Water Bubbles (on the front) and I Kick. Hubby was so excited, he asked if he could take the book to work and show it off.

Happily Ever After
This is a photo of my daughter and son-in-law on their wedding day. I have used a cutting file by Chris Durnan called Happily Ever After. This layout was created in Photoshop and styles were added to the cutter files. I have to say that working with Chris's cutter files digitally is made all the easier because Chris separates the files rather than presenting them all matted on top of each other as they would end up if you cut them on a cutter. It is so easy just to grab one part of the file, work with it in PS, and then get the next part and I really appreciate how easy Chris makes it for me to work this way.

I made this layout with a picture of Michelle Hessler and some of her Designers I met at the paperthreads convention. I used one of Chris's new ribbon borders at the bottom of the picture. I LOVE these borders. I've been looking for some for a while and now Chris has 3 files of them. The title is my own design and the eggs are by Shelly's Art at Paperthreads. The brass circle charm at the bottom right is from http://www.acharmingplace.com/.

So I was a busy bee this weekend :-). I also created this Wedding Day coin holder for my SIL. These are pictures of her daughter's wedding. I LOVE how it turned out and I'm sure my step-niece will be stealing it - lol. The "titles" are from the new Wedding Words files. The silver charms are from http://www.acharmingplace.com/.

April challenge
I finished up my pages for the April challenge :-). I've been looking for these old pictures since I started my Barn albums. I finally found them a couple of weeks ago. Actually, I found the negatives. I took these over 20 years ago while I was taking a black&white photography class. (Back in my single days - lol). Now I just need to make 2 more copies of each page for my brother's ablums
The tree is from the challenge file. The box "ribbon" is from Chris's "Buried in Boxes" file which I couldn't find in the store, so it may not be there yet. And the adorable pig is from the "Visiting the Farm - CD00514" file. thanks for looking :-).

The Badlands and Sketch challenge
I had some time to finish some layouts this weekend. The first one is my version of the April sketch. I must admit that I did not use the die cuts that Chris provided. I had every intention to cut the title and diecuts, but when I opened the package of Basic Grey, It had a tree die cut and I thought..... I don't even have to turn on my computer. Yep! Lazy scrapping. The second page is a collage of all the cute pictures of my kids jumping in the leaves.
Here's a layout from our South Dakota trip. I used several of Chris's files.
Here's the link to the South Dakota files in the store: Here I also used her scalloped circle. The other supplies used were Page maps sketch, bazzill cardstock, kelly panacci patterned paper, my mind's eye paper.

Trains
Chris's newest file uploaded to the QMC is a gorgeous Train and Title file, so new, it isnt even in the Store yet!. My hubby is absolutely crazy about his "N Scale" train set, so this file was perfect for creating into a layout!
I have created this in PS, and applied styles to the various parts of the Train design.

cupcake wrappers - not just for cupcakes
So how cute are Chris's cupcake wrappers? I wanted to show that they can be used for other things too. Like napkin rings and party favors. The first wrapper is from her everyday collection, which you can find here.
I cut the wrapper, lined it with a paper cupcake holder and filled it with Easter jelly beans. Makes a perfect little party favor.
And then I used two wrappers from her frilly collection, which is here. I cut them smaller, and used them to make napkin rings.

"Moooos Flash!" card
I had to use this new file from Chris, called "You're Gonna What" as soon as I saw it! What fun, this goofy looking cow was just begging to be placed on a card front! This file is also available in this quarters QMC membership, so if you thinking about joining, get onto it! and get this, as well as many other fantastic files, all for one low price!
I have created this card in PS, and so have cheated in the preview :) I have included the Front and the Inside views of the card on the one page so that you can see both views in the one pic. I have only used the cow from Chris's file and you can see how easy it is to just use parts of Chris's files or the whole, whichever suits your needs at the time. I adore this cow, and I can see me using it over and over!

"Owl" take care of You
Here is my submission for the Apr09 Sketch Challenge being held over at the Forum. I have used a kit I designed and Chris's Owl and Tree files supplied FREE for taking part in this challenge! This is a pic of my eldest on a recent trip to visit her and her hubby in their new house in Sydney (Australia). She wasn't feeling very well, and I snapped the pics whilst she was watching some dribble on the TV LOL

In Bloom
Here is my take on the sketch challenge that Rosalie is hostessing in the forum. The owl file is from the challenge collection. I used doodlebug flocking to give it a feathery type of feel. The patterned paper I believe is from DCWV and the flowers are from Prima. This was a fun sketch to work with, and I really love the look of owls, but never tried incorporating them into my layouts until now. I think I may have to use this one again. :)

Our Love
Chris was fabulous enough to allow me a sneak peek at the wedding files that she is uploading for the new QMC. I used the Our Love file for this layout of my husband and I's wedding. The papers are from DCWV. I just used the words of the file, but there are also mats to go with it as well, but I wanted just the words. It fit this layout a bit more then the matted words did. This is just page one of the album and I will be doing more with the words from the QMC files soon. Thanks for looking! Tricia
